Arbeite ich für meine Herrin, so arbeite ich besser. Ich mache mir jederzeit bewusst, was es braucht, um mit Struktur und Klarheit das gesetzte Ziel zu verfolgen. Und ich arbeite so lange, wie meine Chefin es will. Befielt sie mich zu Boden, so ist das eine Auszeichnung, denn es besagt, dass mein Ergebnis dergestalt ist, dass meine Chefin eine Pause anordnen mag, die sie dazu nutzen kann, meine Sinne weiter zu schärfen.

Und während ich meine Knie beuge, meinen Kopf senke, meinen Rücken krümme, behältst Du den Überblick, bestimmst die Agenda, jedes Tempo. Du nimmst die Gewichtung vor, was wann wie wichtig ist, und ich kann mich darauf konzentrieren, dieser Wichtigkeit zu entsprechen. Du hast den Lead und ich bin der Soldat, der Dir folgt.

I work for you. With respect. Reverence. You have the status you deserve, and the fact that I am allowed to feel and experience with all my senses now and then how sublime and elegant and sovereign my mistress is, is an inspiration for me.

When I work for my mistress, I work better. I make myself aware at all times of what it takes to pursue the set goal with structure and clarity. And I work as long as my mistress wants me to. If she orders me to the ground, it is a distinction, because it means that my result is such that my boss may order a break, which she can use to sharpen my senses further.

And while I bend my knees, lower my head, arch my back, you keep the overview, set the agenda, any pace. You prioritise what is important and when, and I can focus on meeting that importance. You have the lead and I am the soldier who follows you.
